Robert W. Huskey, D.M.D.
Meet Dr. Huskey
Robert William Huskey was born in Columbus, GA, but grew up in Opelika, AL. He is a 1968 graduate of Opelika High School. Dr. Huskey attended Samford University for his undergraduate degree and received his dental degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1975. He completed a one-year general practice residency at the VA hospital in Birmingham and opened his practice in Opelika on August 9, 1976.
Dr. Huskey is a member of the Ninth District Dental Society, Alabama Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He and his wife of 28 years, Annette, are members at First United Methodist Church in Opelika. Dr. Huskey has two grown children - Layton, who works for a local industrial company, and Leah, who is a senior at Auburn University majoring in marketing and Apparel Merchandising.
Dr. Huskey is a seven-time State Racquetball Champion and was inducted to the Alabama Racquetball Hall of Fame in 2006.
